Engineer Review

This tool offers the following functionalities to engineers:

• In the Engineer Review tool, user can view all "Awaiting Engineer" exams and assign an engineer to these exams.

• The Engineer Review Dashboard provides the following functionality specific to each exam:

  • Summary of the exam and assigned people.
  • Unexamined parts, Defects and Recommendations can be viewed, added, edited, completed and deleted where appropriate.
  • Approval/Rejection and engineers comments can be viewed, edited and completed.

To access the Engineer Review, simply click on the "Engineer Review" option.

In this tool, engineers can view the total number of awaiting engineer exams based on report types within the tool.

All "Awaiting Engineer" exams are displayed, and users can select a specific exam and assign an engineer by clicking on the "Assign Engineer" button.

Once a user select an exam, they will be able to use the "Assign Engineer" button to assign an engineer.

Engineer Review Dashboard

To access the Engineer Review Dashboard, engineers need to double-click on the specific exam displayed in the grid.

Summary

In this Dashboard, users can view the exam summary within the "Summary" section. Additionally, users can navigate to the process using the cogs icon.

Report Actions

Engineer can download the examiner report by clicking on the download button. Additionally, engineers can perform the Engineer's Approval and see its history.

📄 Generating Report Preview

Users can generate a report preview by clicking the "Preview Report" button. Once triggered:

• The Report Preview section will appear on the screen.
• The generated report will be available for Download within this section.
• To check the current status of report generation, users can click the "Check status" button.
• If any errors occur during report generation, they will also be displayed in this section for further action.

Defects, Unexamined parts, and Engineer comments

Engineer can view, edit, open and complete the defects, unexamined parts, and engineer comments. Editing, adding, and deleting records is done within the data grids.

The engineer has the capability to refresh the Engineer Defects by clicking on the 'Refresh' button.

This action will delete the existing live engineer defects and replace them with the latest defects loaded from the most recent NR data.

Recommendations

Engineer can view and edit recommendations from this section, and they can also attach past recommendations by clicking on the "Load Past Recommendations" button.
