Exam Management

Overview

Viewing and Filtering Exams

  1. View Exam List:

    • Upon accessing the Exam Management tool, you will see a grid displaying a list of all exams.
    • To narrow down the list and find specific reports, use the filter control boxes located at the top of the grid.
  2. Filter Control Boxes:

    • These boxes allow you to apply various filters to the exam list based on different criteria, making it easier to find the specific exams you need.

Selecting an Exam for Action

  1. Select an Exam:
    • To select a particular exam report, click on the row corresponding to that exam.
    • The selected row will turn blue, indicating it is selected.
  2. Change Exam Type Button:
    • The 'Change Exam Type' button will become visible and enabled if the selected exam’s state is one of (Unallocated, Planned, Examination in Progress, Returned To Examiner) and the exam type is from one of the mentioned groups.
    • This button allows you to update the exam type for the selected exam.

Changing Exam Type

  1. Exam Type Groups:

    • Exam types are categorized into different groups. The current groups and their respective exam types are:
      • Bridge Detail Group:
        • Bridge Detailed
        • Bridge Detailed + HCE
      • UnderWater Group:
        • Underwater
        • Underwater + Stage 1
        • Underwater + Stage 2
        • Underwater + Stage 1 Review
        • Underwater + Stage 2 Review
        • Scour
        • Scour Stage 1
        • Scour Stage 1 Review
        • Scour Stage 2
  2. Multi-Select Limitation:

    • If you select multiple exams, the 'Change Exam Type' button will not appear if the selected exams belong to different groups.
  3. Changing Exam Type:

    • After selecting an exam and ensuring it is in the correct state, click the 'Change Exam Type' button.
    • This action will open the 'Change Exam Type' pop-up dialog with options to select the new exam type (only exam types within the same group will appear in the drop-down), as shown in the screenshot below.
